 The Paloma Dress

Where buttons & a tie top meet in sweet harmony.  Ties at the small of the waist and buttons down the skirt with vintage wooden buttons.  Hidden mother of pearl button inside center front so the cross-over chest does not gap. Pleated shoulder seams that look nice and add room for many sized busts. Dropped sleeveless body to prevent sweat marks and add breathability, bias binded finishing.  Yolked interfaced lining Deep side seam pockets that don't add bulk and allow room for everyday necessities.  Just below knee length and not too clingy on the hips.  2 darts on the skirt making for a fitted look that is easy to wear.  Breast feeding friendly dress.

We collaborated with artist Yuriko Hoshino to create this original Field Day floral design.  The print features Sphinx moths, sweet pea and jasmine.  Our favorite pollinator along side the sweetest smelling blossoms. We made it with an intention for connection and reciprocity for all who wear it, or enjoy seeing it pass by them in the streets or in the wilds.

I wasn’t sure about this dress when I ordered because it’s a new style for me and wasn’t sure what to expect-welllll first off the pattern is so good AND the wooden buttons are perfect.
I sized up because I like a roomy fit~
This dress looks really cute with a bralette-

Perfect breastfeeding-friendly dress

I love this dress! My only gripe with it is that the button that is meant to keep the front closed is far too low--either it needs to be higher up (it's almost right next to the bottom ties of the top half) or there needs to be a second. Especially if breastfeeding, it basically just is an open top, so I had to sew in a button higher up myself. I do have a large chest post baby, but this will be common with anyone looking at this while breastfeeding! Other than that it is really flattering. Size up rather than down if you're on the cusp.
