Dolman Top in Strawberry Cotton

SO SOFT!! Love this as an easy print top -- one of those ones that's a neutral despite not being a neutral, exactly. The fit is easy (and I'm average bust/broad shoulder and ribcage; usually US 14-16 and the XL fit me just right.

I love my new top. The fit is perfect, and the design is gorgeous.

The yellow of this top is one of my best friends' favorite colors, and the checker pattern helps me feel relaxed and low-key. The fabric is biodegradable rayon. My research into this fabric type indicates that while the fabric itself is biodegradable, the "most common production method" of rayon is highly toxic. For this reason, I am curious about the source of the fabric. Perhaps there are other production methods that are environmentally sustainable and produce the fabric for this shirt? I hope so!

I am between a 4x and 5x in this brand's clothes, and perhaps a XXL in the dresses that only go to that size (I have not tried on those dresses, I am merely going by measurement). I am very satisfied with the design and fit of this top. While it is somewhat expensive based on fast fashion standards, I believe the quality and mindfulness involved reasonably explain the cost. I have sensory sensitivities, and I am often concerned about showing both too much arm skin and too much cleavage. This top strikes a brilliant balance between breathability and appropriateness for school or work. The length is also long enough that I don't believe I need to be too concerned about showing the skin on my waist, at least if I'm holding myself appropriately.

I am happy enough with my initial purchase of this top that I just bought two hundred dollars worth of sale goods, which I am excited to receive. I hope to support Field Day for many more years to come, especially if my concerns about the fabric source are alleviated at some point.

This is a gorgeous shirt and really fills a gap in my wardrobe. It's also lightweight and perfect for many different occasions in the summer. A suggestion for improvement is to better match the seams in the front: they're a bit bunched, but they're reinforced really well, and I'd rather have something well-made and constructed that's slightly imperfect than a perfect garment that falls apart within a few months. This shirt is definitely going to last a long time.
