FIRST FRIDAY WITH EVIL KITTY
Join us this Friday, August 3rd from 6-9pm for an art opening with Kate Seifert of Evil Kitty Design. Her ink drawings and watercolors will be hanging brightly on our walls for the entire month of August, as well as a pop up of Kate's hand designed apparel on the night of the opening. 19TH ST BLOCK PARTY FOR NATIONAL NIGHT OUT
Our block will be participating in Oakland's annual National Night Out on Tuesday, August 7th. Join us at the shop for refreshments and a smoking hot deal on our one of a kind Sheet and Bedding dresses as well as a pop up with Deja Sparks and her eclectic jewelry. Especially as feelings of shame may be intensifying during this time.
Shame is often the name of the game for those who typically fall into the margins of our patriarchal, capitalist, white supremacist society. If we remain intentional in our connections to our collective and steadfast in our craft, we can overcome personal feelings of shame and start to overthrow the toxic systems that create them.
