Field Day started as a little art project, ripping apart free pile & thrift store finds and resewing them. Hand dyeing old slips, printing on them & adding pieces of antique wedding dress lace to the bottom. Screen printing patches on scrap fabric to help me pay for food and gas as I traveled across the country, posted up on street corners and at craft fairs.
I kept showing up. You did too.
And somehow, Field Day became what it is today.
For 21 years, everything has been made one at a time, in small batches, with its wearer and its impact in mind.
That hasn’t changed.
Thank you for being here. It means more than I know how to type out on a screen.
XO,
Trinity
