Join us this March 7th for field day & friends First Friday Opening
Jenny Jo Kristan
Jenny Jo Kristan’s lifetime love for fairy tales, animals, and magic influence her paintings and illustrations, which she creates in her home studio in Milwaukee, WI. She spent many years studying poetry and magic under the great Beat matriarch Diane di Prima during her 11 years in the Bay. Jenny Jo was a founding member of the Stars and Garters Theater Co. in San Francisco, for whom she wrote plays, dressed in beautiful rags, and built junkyard sets. Finding the rigors of putting on shows rather difficult once she and husband Phoenix had their third baby, she turned to her childhood love—drawing-- for creative expression.
Oakland Native, Momma bear and chef in her own right. Harriette Ray’s line of aprons is made with love and an expertise passed down from sewing machine to sewing machine. As with all her work, Harriette likes to combine the functional with the stylish. Sugar and spice are the main ingredients in these handmade cuties. And will last for many dinners to come.
