Thicket & Thistle is an apparel brand creating luxury clothing and accessories using natural fabrics and plant dyes foraged in the Sierra Nevada Mountains. Maker and dyer Nicole Vannucchi grew up climbing trees and gathering acorns in her childhood home just outside of Yosemite National Park. Memories of that childhood and her emotional connection to changing seasons are the inspiration behind her minimalist shapes and unique dye patterns.

"Through my work I aim to recreate a place I have been before, in my travels through dreamscapes and weekend getaways to parallel universes. Mystified by the possibilities of what may or may not exist, I am interested in exploring the unknown and exploiting our changing beliefs of what is real. Constructed creatures and landscapes reflect the potentials of what could be and I create things yet to be discovered."
