2016 Localwise Work Local Awards

We’re a finalist for “Most Community-Oriented Employer"!

We’re excited to announce that we’ve been selected as a finalist for “Most Community-Oriented Employer” for the 2016 Work Local Awards, a celebration of the best local employers in the Bay Area. Here’s a bit about what the community has to say about us:

Field Day emerged from the desire to make timeless, impeccably crafted clothing from completely conscious materials that transcend trendy and were made to make history.

“Field Day is a not only a shop, but a fantastic community space that fosters local creativity and holds space for USA-made handcrafted goods. The owner of the business, Trinity Cross, does an enormous amount of work to host local artists, designers, and to invite herbalists, teachers of esoteric knowledge, and creative makers to teach classes that enrich the quality of life for people in the Bay Area.”

The Work Local Awards shines the spotlight on the boutiques, cafes, nonprofits, startups, and all the local employers that make our local communities thrive.

The awards are presented by Localwise, a mission-driven organization focused on helping local businesses hire local employees. Event partners include the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco, Kiva Zip, OBDC, and more.

Join the fun! Be sure to RSVP for the celebration event on April 28th. Free locally-made food and drinks from Phil’s Sliders, Hopsy, and more included with each ticket!
